2022 WFLC Spring Meeting
The 2022 WFLC Spring Meeting will take place in Manhattan, KS on place Wednesday, May 18 from 12:30 p.m. to Thursday, May 19 at 4:00 p.m. (Note that the CWSF Meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 17 from 8:00 a.m. to Wednesday, May 18 at 12:30 p.m. The Federal Caucus and S&PF Directors Meetings will take place Wednesday, May 18 from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m.)
Who Attends: The WFLC Meeting includes both western State Foresters and USDA Forest Service WFLC members. The CWSF Meeting includes western State Foresters. The Federal Caucus includes western Regional Foresters, Station Directors, and the Forest Products Lab Director. The S&PF Meeting includes western State & Private Forestry Directors.
Location: The meeting will take place in Manhattan, Kansas at the Kansas State University campus.
Registration Fee: Early bird registration is $350 for non-USDA Forest Service participants until April 1. The regular registration fee will be $450 for non-USDA Forest Service participants starting April 2. This fee includes catering for all three days (coffee/tea breaks and lunches) and meeting attendance. Breakfast is provided each day by the Bluemont Hotel.
WFLC USDA Forest Service participants: please register under the $0 USDA Forest Service option. This includes western Regional Foresters, western Research Station Directors, the Forest Products Laboratory Director, and western State and Private Forestry Directors.
Any other individuals from the USDA Forest Service not listed above, please contact Halie Miyazawa before registering.
Registration Deadline: The registration deadline for all attendees is April 25, 2022 Lodging: Hotel reservations can be made at the Bluemont Hotel.
Attire: Wednesday, May 18 - Field Tour Attire; Thursday, May 19 - Business Casual
COVID Considerations: The COVID situation is being closely monitored and precautions will be put into place for the health and safety of all attendees. More information will be provided as we approach the meeting dates.
